The net is described as a tensile, durable, chemically stable product for geotechnical and hydraulic work, steep slopes, soft ground, pavements and vertical faces.
CE131 is described locking with granular fill so the layer acts as a mat, spreading vertical load. The same net is described in embankments, in asphalt, and as a way to limit frost heave and to shorten construction in difficult weather.
CE151 is described on dams and rock faces against erosion, and as a flexible cage for river and coastal training works. It is also named as a sprayed-concrete support mesh in tunnels.
